Syllabus:
a. Book:
Teachers will teach both Student book and Workbook of Tiếng Anh Friends Global.
Parts: C. Listening - G. Speaking - H. Writing
b. Expectations:
Teachers are supposed to help students:
- Understand and use vocabulary correctly.
- Pronounce words correctly and as naturally as possible.
- Practice speaking based on the given topics through various activities such as individual work, pair work, discussions, presentations, surveys, etc.
- Complete writing tasks to learn how to write informal letters, formal letters, emails, etc., with the correct format.
c. Special notes:
In your schedule, classes marked in bold are considered good classes. Thus, once the assigned syllabus activities are completed, teachers should introduce more advanced activities for these classes.
Documentation of learning: Teachers should ask students to write down the lesson title, vocabulary, structures, and speaking questions in their notebooks. This serves as evidence of what they have learned with foreign teachers. Teachers need to mind this:
At least, students have to write down the title and vocabulary.
If the structures from the book are long, teachers can ask students to write at home. In the next session, teachers can ask the class monitor to check and report.
Preparation for future lessons: Teachers can also ask students to write the title of the next lesson for the following week. This helps students prepare in advance at home and ensures the lessons go well.
Tests:
For each semester, there is a final test including 4 skills (listening, reading, writing, and speaking).
