Ping Pong Words

Set up:

Give points for each place.
Write the example line: next word must start with the last letter of the previous word.

How to play:

Get one person from each team to stand at the front.
The first person starts and says a word. For example, Turtle.
The next person must say a letter beginning with ’E’ (the last letter of the previous word.)
They have 5 seconds to say a word, or they are out and can sit down.
Keep going until there is a winner and give out points to each team.
Repeat with four new students.

5 - 10 minutes

How to modify the game:

Words must fit a specific category, such as animals or foods, adding a thematic challenge.
Implement difficulty levels where each round requires words of a certain length or from a particular topic.
After saying the word, the player must act out the word to add a physical element to the game.
