Give one student from team 1 a handful of 20 magnets.

Start timer for 30 seconds, and show the students of team 1 the flashcards in a random order.Â
Team 1 will shout out the word that is on the flashcard, the student at the board must put 1 magnet under the correct word.
Once it’s correct, change the flashcard. Keep shuffling flashcards and changing them until the timer is up.Â
Get students to count the magnets and give them a score. Repeat for each team.Â

Introduce a penalty for incorrect placements that adds extra time to the timer or requires correction before proceeding.
Award bonus points for faster and more accurate placements to encourage efficiency.
Rotate the role of the student placing magnets to ensure all team members participate and stay engaged.
