Give each color a number of points on the board.
Put colored balls into a little bag.Â

Get students to say the answers to the questions on the board in full sentences.
Ask one student to the front to write scores on the board for you.Â
Now walk around the room and ask individual students questions.Â
If they answer in a full sentence, then let them choose a ball out of the bag without looking.
Give them points depending on what color they pick out.
Continue around the room asking different students.Â

Prepare question cards that students draw from and must answer in full sentences to earn a chance to pick a ball.
Have students answer questions in pairs or small groups. If they answer correctly, they can pick a ball collectively from the bag.
Assign different point values to each ball color and include some mystery balls with unknown point values to add surprise and strategy.
