Get one student to be the king or queen, and three to be the guardians.

Give the queen and her guards questions to ask.
Students come up the the front and start with guardian 3.
They guardian will ask them a question like “What’s your favourite toy?”
If the student answers correctly they can play rock, paper, scissors with the guardian. If they win, they move on to the next guardian. If they lose, they go to the back of the line.
If they beat them all, they have a showdown with the queen, if the queen loses they are replaced by the new student.

Add a time limit for students to complete their words to increase the speed and urgency of the game.
Provide bonus points for more challenging or less common words to encourage a greater range of vocabulary.
Rotate categories each round to diversify the challenge and keep the game interesting.
