FACILITY

The classrooms are not spacious, with 45-47 students per class.
The school provides TVs and air conditioners in the classrooms.
There is an auditorium used for meetings and organizing competitions.
Teachers can take breaks in the staff room but there is no designated room for naps.

STUDENTS' INFORMATION

Student Level: Most students are at a weak to average level, with average-good students vary across different classes.
Attitude and Interest: Due to the majority of students being weak to average, they may not fully understand or show much interest in this subject. Many students tend to study other subjects or use their phones during class. Teachers need to have experience, patience, and the ability to implement engaging activities to capture students’ attention.
Materials: Students have complete learning materials.
Classroom: Students study in their designated classrooms.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

TEACHER

Experienced with effective teaching methods, capable of utilizing interactive whiteboards/projectors, and preferably teaching with PowerPoint.
Skilled in classroom management.
Clear and proper accent.
Friendly, approachable, and maintains good communication with school staff.
Professionalism and Discipline: Punctual, properly dressed (with emphasis on attire), and wearing an ID badge.
Arrives in the classroom 2-3 minutes before the lesson begins (especially at the start of the day and after breaks).

TEACHING ASSISTANT

Teaching assistants (TAs) are also teachers at the school. They are concerned about quality; however, some of them provide limited support to the teachers.

The TC and AC attending teacher observations must have an observation form to submit to the school.

EVENT

The school typically does not organize events.

Occasionally, during the academic year, the school holds a few ceremonies where Vinalearn is expected to present flowers (e.g., Appreciation Ceremony).

DISCIPLINE & MANNER

Teachers and teaching assistants must be in the classroom 2-3 minutes before the lesson starts.
Drive directly into the parking area.
For class transitions: Teachers must arrange their time to move to the next class promptly and ensure they are on time for the lesson.

OTHERS

At the end of each lesson, teachers must remind students to maintain cleanliness and avoid littering. After teaching, teachers must clean the board thoroughly.
For personal belongings of Vietnamese teachers (homeroom teachers of each class): TAs and teachers are not allowed to use items such as speakers, rulers, pens, books, etc., without prior permission from the Vietnamese teachers. Chalk and board erasers may be used but must be returned to their original place neatly after use.
If teachers or TAs smoke, they must find a place far from the school to avoid being seen by students.
