The classroom is spacious, with a small number of students (37 - 45 per class).
Each classroom is equipped with a TV, microphone, speaker, and air conditioning.
Teachers can take breaks in the staff room or teacher’s lounge (permission from the school is required—please contact the CO).
The school has an underground parking area where teachers are required to park within designated spaces.
Level: Fair to Excellent.
Attitude and Engagement: Students are interested in the subject, show a cooperative attitude, and actively participate in the teacher’s lessons and activities (for TCTA classes).
Students study in their assigned classroom.
TEACHER GUIDELINES
Attire and Conduct:
✔️Teachers must adhere to professional dress code:
✔️ Male teachers should wear dress shirts and trousers.
✔️ Female teachers should dress in formal business attire.
✔️ All teachers are required to wear a name badge while teaching.
Punctuality:
The school has a system to monitor teachers’ arrival times, so teachers are expected to arrive on time. Teachers must be in the classroom 2-3 minutes before the lesson begins (both at the start of class and after recess).
Professional Standards:
✔️ Teachers should be energetic, experienced, and maintain high teaching standards.
✔️ Lessons must be well-prepared and align precisely with the curriculum.
✔️ Teachers must not teach beyond the designated material for Vietnamese teachers.
✔️ Teachers are encouraged to implement a variety of speaking activities.
✔️ Teachers with classroom management experience are preferred. Teachers must not scold or shout at students and should use respectful language, avoiding any remarks that could be offensive or derogatory.
Teacher Assignments:
✔️ Teachers should be consistently assigned, with minimal changes.
✔️ Teachers must have a complete set of legal documents.
TEACHING ASSISTANT GUIDELINES
Attire:Professional attire is required: collared shirt, trousers, no T-shirts, and formal shoes.
Appearance:
No brightly dyed hair, maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Conduct and Communication:
✔️ Use respectful, professional language; avoid any comments that could be offensive or demeaning to students.
✔️ Maintain appropriate boundaries with students during interactions.
✔️ Maintain a serious demeanor during class; avoid casual jokes or teasing.
✔️ Assistants should remain attentive during class and avoid using mobile phones. If caught, the school will document and report the incident, and the TA may be disqualified from future work at the school.
Punctuality:
Arrive 5-10 minutes before class to help maintain order at the start.
Professional Skills:
✔️ Teaching assistants should have a background in English or Education.
✔️ Experience is required.
✔️ Prepare the lesson material ahead of time to support both the teacher and students effectively.
Class Management:
✔️ TAs are expected to work diligently, assisting the teacher in managing the class, noting disruptive students, and informing CS.
✔️ Cooperate with the teacher to manage the class, paying special attention to unique cases and reporting these to the school.
✔️ Apply disciplinary measures appropriately, without being overly strict.
Reporting:
✔️ If any issues arise involving the teacher or students (e.g., teacher absence, tardiness, uncontrollable class disruptions), report immediately to CS for assistance.
✔️ Properly record attendance and follow the school’s requirements for documenting class activities.
✔️ If taking leave, TAs must fully hand over all class details and school requirements to the TA Supervisor and substitute to prevent repeated reminders from the school due to lack of information.
