The classroom is adequately sized for the number of students, and all classrooms are equipped with TVs, projectors, and complete sound systems.
Some classes in the afternoon sessions will be held in the Vinalearn room (for the 2023-2024 academic year, this applies to grade 4).
The school has an auditorium (a spacious room with a LED screen and air conditioning).
Teachers take their breaks in the teachers' room. They can also take their lunch break in the Vinalearn room.
Students' level: good to excellent (their parents can afford and often send them to additional classes at English centers).
They have all the necessary school supplies (books, pens, etc., except in cases where they forget them at home or lose them).
During lessons, students are focused and willing to interact with the teacher, especially if the teacher is engaging.
The students study in their own classrooms (or in the Vinalearn room for grade 4).
Do not skip class, do not arrive late, wear a badge when entering the school, and arrive at the classroom 5-10 minutes early.
Young, lively teachers with experience in teaching primary school.
Good communication with the English department.
The principal is very particular about the conduct, punctuality, and friendly attitude of teachers and teaching assistants: Teachers and teaching assistants should wear professional office attire, and company uniforms are preferred. Punctuality: Arrive 5-10 minutes early to the classroom to help manage students and support the native English teacher.
Professionalism: Teaching assistants should specialize in English, review the lesson before coming to class to effectively support the teacher and students.
Classroom Management: Assist in managing the class and take note of disruptive students.
Reporting: If any unusual issues arise in the classroom related to the teacher or students, such as the teacher being absent, arriving late, or students being disruptive, report promptly to the coordinator for support in handling the situation.
Substitution: If taking leave and needing a substitute, provide the substitute with complete information about the class's characteristics and the school's requirements to ensure proper adherence to the rules, avoiding repeated reminders from the school due to the substitute's lack of information.

Syllabus: (24-25) Lê Lai Primary - Syllabus
The syllabus is designed using the vocabulary, sentence structures, and chants from the book ‘Tiếng Anh Family and Friends’. Vinalearn teachers are not provided any books (Student book and Workbook) to prevent any clashes with the lessons covered and taught by the Vietnamese teachers.
Vinalearn teachers are expected to follow these guidelines:
Practice and / or review the “Required Vocabulary” to ensure students remember and use the words accurately.
Correct students’ pronunciation to ensure they pronounce the words correctly and as naturally as possible.
Enhance students’ speaking skills using the sentence structures from the “Contents / Target Language”.
Teachers can refer to the audio attached in the “Contents / Target Language” for phonics lessons.
Tests
There is no test.
Lesson plan
Each Wednesday of the week the Vice Principal reviews the schedule, syllabus, and lesson plans from all the teachers for the following week to ensure that all students are studying at a similar pace, and to be prepared for a visit from the Department of Education and Training (they visit regularly). The school asks that Vinalearn teachers also adhere to this school policy, and submit their lesson plans for the following week on a Thursday.
The syllabus is not your lesson plan. It is only a guide for you. You must put time aside to prepare your lesson plans as expected for any teacher we have on our team.
