The school is very large, with a spacious yard.
The classroom is adequately sized for the number of students. All classrooms are equipped with TVs, projectors, and a full sound system. Each classroom also has air conditioning.
The staff room/auditorium is large and often used as a classroom.
The teachers' room has been used as a classroom, so there is no place for teachers to rest. (Teachers usually take breaks next to the parking lot - it is requested that engines be turned off and vehicles pushed into the parking area.)
The students are of good to excellent proficiency (their parents often send them to additional classes at English centers).
They have all the necessary school supplies (books, pens, etc., except in cases they forget them at home or lose them).
During lessons, students are focused and willing to interact with the teacher, especially if the teacher is engaging.
The students study in their own classrooms.

Support for the English Talent Contest: Collaborate with the English department to translate the script. Foreign teachers should assist by providing feedback on the content and correcting pronunciation for the performances (scheduling multiple visits to the school).

Regarding the personal belongings of Vietnamese teachers (the homeroom teacher of each class): The teaching assistant and teacher should not use them without permission (e.g., speakers, rulers, pens, books, etc.). These items should only be used after asking for permission from the Vietnamese teachers. However, chalk and board erasers can be used but must be put back in their original place and kept tidy after use.
If the teacher or teaching assistant smokes, they must find a place far from the school to avoid being seen by students.
Syllabus:
*Teachers are expected to follow these guidelines:
Practice and / or review the “Required Vocabulary” to ensure students remember and use the words accurately.
Correct students’ pronunciation to ensure they pronounce the words correctly and as naturally as possible.
Enhance students’ speaking skill using the sentence structures from the “Contents / Target Language”.
For Phonics lessons, teachers can refer to the audio attached in the “Contents / Target Language”.
Books:
Grade 1 - 5: Family and Friends 1-5 (The books are used only for reference.)
*Teachers are expected to follow these guidelines:
Review vocabulary, practice sentence structures, and organize many speaking activities.
Do not assign students exercises from the book to avoid interfering with the activities of the Vietnamese teacher.
In theory, teachers at Phan Chu Trinh Primary School have to submit lesson plans 1 week in advance. However, it is quite busy for teachers right now, so for the lesson plan for week 2 (9/9 - 14/9), teachers are allowed to submit lesson plans in this week. Starting from week 2 (16/9 - 21/9), teachers will submit their lesson plans by Friday, September 13th at the latest.
Test:
Vinalearn teachers don't have to conduct any tests at this school. However, Vinalearn teachers may help the school teachers with speaking tests if asked.
