The classroom is relatively suitable for the number of students per class, equipped with a projector, but no air conditioning.
Teachers can take breaks in the staff room.
The Advanced classes have varying levels of proficiency (usually only the top 1-2 classes are at a high level, while the rest are at an average to weak level).
Students in the lower classes tend to be quite unruly. Students study in their assigned classrooms.
Dress Code - Conduct: Teachers must adhere to the dress code and professional conduct:
✔️ Male teachers should wear a dress shirt, dress pants, and a tie.
✔️ Female teachers must dress in appropriate business attire.
✔️ Teachers must wear a name badge while teaching at school.
Timing: The school has a team to monitor teacher arrival times; therefore, teachers must strictly follow school hours. Teachers are required to be at the classroom door 5 minutes before class begins (both at the start and after breaks) and not wait until the bell rings to head to class.
Professional Standards:
✔️ Teachers should be energetic, experienced, and ensure high teaching quality.
✔️ Lessons should be prepared and taught according to the assigned curriculum.
✔️ Avoid covering content intended for Vietnamese homeroom teachers.
✔️ Teachers are expected to include ample speaking practice activities.
✔️ The school encourages teachers to use technology in lessons to make them more dynamic and engaging, increasing students’ enthusiasm for the subject.
✔️ Teachers should have classroom management experience, avoid scolding students, and always use respectful language, refraining from comments that could be offensive or derogatory.
Teacher Placement Requirements:
✔️ Preference is given to native English-speaking teachers (no placement for teachers of color), with minimal changes in staff.
✔️ Preference is for teachers with strong teaching experience, the ability to engage students, a friendly demeanor, and solid classroom management skills, with a focus on students’ listening and speaking skills.
✔️ Teachers who can use PowerPoint for lesson delivery are prioritized.
✔️ Teachers must have complete legal documentation.
Teaching Assistants (TAs) must possess classroom management skills, maintain strictness with students, and support teachers in managing the class. However, they should avoid being overly harsh.
TAs should know how to handle situations calmly, maintain a positive, friendly, and respectful attitude. If unsure about handling an issue, they must report it to the center rather than addressing it independently.
TAs should exhibit a respectful and serious demeanor, avoid bright hair dye, and be punctual.
TAs are expected to record information in the class book accurately and completely, following the instructions from CO/CS.
If a TA needs to request a substitute, they must proactively provide the substitute with relevant school information, campus maps, and guidance for completing the class book.
